wedding party
- Best Lady – Katie Maloney (sister of the bride)
- Best Gentlemen – Peter Peltier & Brandon Gaither (friends of the groom)
Katie
Katie and I have been best friends since birth (maybe even before), so there was never a doubt that she would be my Best Lady. Anyone who knows us can recognize the special bond between Katie and I. We’ve been known to finish each others sentences, wear matching outfits (without talking first), and dominate any game that requires you to know what your partner is thinking. I am so lucky to have my sister and best friend all wrapped up in one!
Like myself, Katie and Mark were friends before he and I started dating. The three of us have been friends for so long and done so much together that we’re basically already family. The wedding just makes it official.
Love you Katie, and so happy to have you be such a special part of our day!
Peter & Brandon

I met Peter long ago when I first moved into Lansing. I was pretty lonely in training, and it so happened that Peter had a project with the lady who was training me. After a few lunches in the cafeteria, it was clear that we shared a lot of the same interests, and a friendship was born. There were many Monday Night Raws to follow.
Brandon and Peter went to college together, and eventually Brandon came to work at the same company as Peter and I. Whenever I hung out with the two of them, good times were sure to follow, and especially so if Miley Cyrus happened to be on the radio (shakin my hips like yeah). I knew these were two guys I needed to spend more time with.
I really got to know Peter and Brandon when the three of us moved in together in a rental house. In college, I was always a commuter, so this was the closest I ever had to “the college experience”. We played a lot of board games, had more than one impromptu dance party, wore out a nearly endless supply of catchphrases (e’rey day we hustlin’), totally rocked some Scarface t-shirts, and did a *lot* of complaining about work. The three of us even took a trip to Ireland together, which was an incredible way to cap off our stay in the Birchwood house.
Whenever the three of us spend time together, there’s no doubt adventure will follow, and probably a fair amount of giggling too. I’m super stoked to have them be a part of our wedding!
